The Joint Kava Lounge was created to provide the community with a comfortable space to unwind and relax with friends in a serene environment while offering alternatives to alcohol such as Kava, Kratom, and kombucha, as well as other delicious treats.
What we offer
Kava, or kava kava, is an evergreen shrub with origins in the South Pacific Islands and is in the same family as the Pepper Plant. Kava Tea (what we offer!) can be used to treat anxiety and insomnia.
Kratom is a tropical tree with Southeast Asian origins. The tea brewed from kratom leaves is believed to improve energy levels, focus, mood, and more. The Joint offers three different strains of kratom, and while independent research is encouraged, here's a summary:

Kombucha is a fermented and lightly sweetened black tea, originating in Northeast China. Kombucha contains antioxidants, live bacteria, and yeast, which work to aid in digestion, improve the immune system, and reduce inflammation. We outsource from local craft brewery Big Dog Kombucha for the highest quality.
